I get the logic, but this isn’t going to make Illinois walk back the tax. Feels more like FD making a point than solving a problem, meanwhile risking user blowback and pushing players offshore. It’s a weird hill to die on
I think the meta is they just can't be willing to eat willy-nilly tax increases. There's also an argument it just changes player behavior rather than drive them away. We'll eventually see what happens in the Illinois handle/revenue metrics.
